A community organisation
Small actions. Big change.
CLAPS Society brings people together to build stronger communities, expand opportunity and create a kinder, greener future.
About CLAPS Society
People-powered change starts here.
CLAPS Society is a community organisation built on a simple belief: the people closest to a problem are closest to its solution. We work alongside neighbourhoods rather than arriving with ready-made answers.
- Our mission
- To bring people together around practical action that expands opportunity, strengthens communities and protects the environment we share.
- Our vision
- Communities where every person has the support, opportunity and dignity they need to build the life they choose.
- Why we exist
- Too much goodwill never becomes action because people do not know where to start. CLAPS Society exists to close that gap — turning willingness into organised, accountable work that a community can see and measure.
How we work
Community-led
Programmes are shaped with the people they serve, not designed for them from a distance.
Transparent
We publish our registrations, our numbers and how contributions are used.
Practical
We favour work that can start this month over plans that impress on paper.
Dignity first
Support is offered as a right and a partnership, never as a favour.
Our Work
Four ways we show up for communities
Different programmes, one method — start with what the community says it needs, then stay long enough for it to hold.
Education
Creating access to learning, skills and opportunities for children and young people.
Learn moreEmpowerment
Supporting people with tools, confidence and pathways toward a better future.
Learn moreEnvironment
Encouraging sustainable habits and community-led action for a healthier planet.
Learn moreSocial Care

Our Impact
Change you can count.
We publish what we do and what it adds up to, because trust is built on evidence rather than adjectives.

Certifications & Recognition
Trusted. Verified. Accountable.
We believe transparency and accountability are essential to creating lasting social impact.
Documents being prepared. No registration or certification is published here yet. CLAPS Society’s official documents will appear in this section once they have been uploaded and checked against the originals — we would rather show nothing than show something we have not verified.
What we will publish here

Registrar of Societies — The founding registration under which CLAPS Society is constituted and operates.

Income Tax Department — The organisation’s PAN, quoted on every donation receipt we issue.
12A / 12AB Registration
Income Tax Department — Registration governing the income-tax treatment of the organisation’s own income.
80G Approval
Income Tax Department — Approval under Section 80G, which determines whether eligible donors may claim a deduction on qualifying donations, and at which category.

FCRA Registration
Ministry of Home Affairs — Required before any foreign contribution may be accepted. Include only if held.
Only registrations CLAPS Society actually holds will be listed. Any item that does not apply will be removed rather than left blank.
We don’t just ask for support — we demonstrate accountability. Questions about our registrations? Ask us directly.
