Payment gateway not yet live. CLAPS Society’s banking details and gateway account are still being configured, so the donation flow currently runs in demonstration mode. No money is taken, and no donation is represented as successful. The listed methods become available once the gateway is connected.
Cash donations above ₹2,000 do not qualify for the Section 80G deduction, which is one reason we ask supporters to give digitally wherever possible.

Questions people ask us
If something is not answered here, ask — we would rather explain than have you guess.
- Where does my donation go?
- Unless a specific programme is agreed with our team, donations go to the general fund, which supports whichever programmes need it most at the time — including the running costs that keep them going.
- Will I get a receipt?
- Yes. Every donation confirmed by the payment gateway generates an acknowledgement with a reference number, which you can download or have emailed to you. Whether that acknowledgement can also serve as an 80G certificate depends on our approval status.
- Can I claim a tax deduction?
- Eligible donors may be able to claim a deduction on qualifying donations if the organisation is approved under Section 80G, subject to applicable Income Tax rules and their own circumstances. Our current status is set out on the tax benefits page.
- Is my payment secure?
- Card and bank details are entered in the payment provider’s own secure window. They never pass through this website, and we never store them.
- Can I cancel or get a refund?
- Donations are voluntary contributions and are not normally refundable. If a payment was made in error, contact us with the reference number and we will look into it.
